The Visiting Nurse Asociation concept and the like is a marvel. Think about it.
Someone caring enough to come to your home.
I still remember when doctors made house calls; those days are long over.
I also remember my grandmother needing the VNA and how caring her nurses were and how genuine their care was. It never seemed forced or ‘put on.’

It has become necessary for me to use such services. I am praying that in my case, this is what will help me in the long run, and finally in this world, that I may have some peace.

I humbly ask for your prayers; for those needing such care and their nurses and associates, who so compassionately give aid; and a few more prayers that they are indeed my hope, as are my fellow CAFers, who so diligently pray and keep me company in their love and care through Christ’s.

Lord, grant all visiting nurses and those for whom they care many graces for faith, hope, love, and joy. In the bond of their interaction, draw them all close to your Sacred Heart, joyfully and confidently. Spare them divine light in the face of illness or other temptations toward discouragement. Have mercy, Lord, and heal all afflictions of the sick, whether spiritual or physical. Our Lady, angels, and saints, pray with us. Amen.

Dear Lord please bring home care to those who need it, whether of such organizations and/or of family and friends. Help these people to be as independent as possible, yet receiving what care and encouragement that is needed.
 
Praying that the Lord may bless you and all those who receive care from the Visiting Nurses Association. Also praying for blessings for all the nurses and associates.
