I’m in western washington too, and many at my parish kneel after the Agnus Dei anyway. Our priest has never said anything about it, but then again we are a more traditional parish than any for a fair distance.Thanks for the correction about the GIRM. I don’t understand why a bishop would make that decision. If they want people to become more aware of Jesus’ Real Presence in the Mass, one would think they would want them to maintain that posture once the Real Presence has been confected. Does anyone know what the justification is for opting out of kneeling?
