This is an interesting Youtube that I came across after hearing some of his statements that were in line with our Christian Faith. turns out he is a baptized Russian Orthodox who practices his faith.
 
Wrong video.

Nevertheless, its old news. Pray for him, that he govern his people with that faith in mind for the sake of the faithful in Russia. Most Holy Theotokos, I pray for Russia.
 
I find myself agreeing with Vlad more than my own President on most issues. I am not happy about this.

Having visited Russia I think the stories of his ties to the Russian mob are the creation of the CIA. He’s a good ruler of his country and treats the Church well.

If Putin is such a good ruler then he would not have people murdered every year for speaking out against him. He is an very evil man, makes Obama look like a saint.

There are no proofs of Putin having ordered the murder of anyone, unlike Obama, who ordered the murder of American citizens and hundreds of innocent foreigners by drones. As this is a fact.

I could be wrong, but I think these stories are CIA creations. It may even be American Black ops directed from POTUS. Obama hates Putin.

The OP wanted to comment about Putin’s baptism. That is more certain to me than Obama’s. There is also no doubt Putin loves Russia. Does our president love his country?

Yes, Obama loves his country. He’s the president. You might not like his ideas, but don’t question his sincerity in what he believes. I don’t agree with everything he stands for, but he’s doing what he thinks is right. The same goes for Putin. Does Putin’s love of Russia include destabilizing the US? If so, why the extreme dislike of the US president and deep love of the Russian one, when in the US and an US citizen?

Not to say anyone’s hands are clean, but do you really believe a very senior level exKGB never ordered a kill, or that he’s incapable of ties to the people that can kill?

I also believe that Russia is fighting Isis and I am not sure what we are doing over there.

The idea that Russia is trying to destabilize the U.S. is rather absurd. It would be like a song bird trying to destabilize an elephant. I think we all know which nation is big into destabilizing the entire world as its plaything with its NGO’s and constant military interventions.

So Putin is trying to do what in regard to getting rid of his opposition, intervening in Ukraine, pushing for a pan-Slavic union rather than one with the EU, etc? Create a GreatRussian plutocracy?

No doubt the US will do whatever is in US interests, is Putin above that? Is what he does really in Russian interests, or personal interests? Do his interests agree with US interests or go against it? Which rule would you prefer?
