The Ladies of Cecilia
*Proclaiming the faith through the medium of beautiful music *
We are “The ladies of Cecilia”, a vocal ensemble of orthodox Catholic young women who wish to use our musical talents and knowledge of the faith in the service of Our Lord and Our Lady.
We are looking for a few good voices (altos or sopranos) to join us. We are also in need of a violinist. Applicants should have a strong classical background. in these areas.
High school seniors, college age women or recent graduates, especially those with degrees in music are encouraged to apply. Home schooled individuals are also most welcome. In general we prefer women who are 18 years or older. We will however consider a younger person who is extremely talented.
Basic Requirements******
Applicants should have a sound knowledge of the traditional Catholic faith; be faithful to the Holy Father and the Magisterium of the Church; have a strong devotion to our Lady and the Rosary, and have a good understanding and appreciation of the Church’s teaching on modesty.
