Today was the House Chapter and I have been informed that I have been passed on to the Novitiate provided that the meeting with the novice master that will take place in a couple of weeks goes well.

Hey David,

Congratulations on moving on to the Novitiate! I’ll be spending some time with the order soon to continue my discernment, maybe I’ll get a chance to meet you then.

Visited the Novitiate this past weekend for the final “interview”.

Currently finishing up my finals and papers. End of Year/Graduation Dinner is Friday, Graduation is Saturday, leave for home (vacation) is Sunday.

Report to the Novitiate Sunday June 3rd, do a 5 day retreat and then am invested at Evening Prayer on Sunday June 10.

Got a lot of studying to do the next couple of days. Then packing and cleaning.

Have gotten rid of some personal belongings in my practice of detachment.

Things are going well.
