Vocations in scripture

Could anyone point me in the direction of vocations, religious and otherwise, in scripture?

More like direction for discovering the vocation The Lord has chosen for each of us.

I’m not really sure if this can be found in scripture, but I’m fairly ignorant in that area. I thought it would be worth it to ask.

The best example I can think of is when Paul (I think?) talks about those who aren’t able to remain celibate, saying they should get married. I can’t remember where that is found in scripture, either.

Maybe that will clear my question up a bit.

I did a search on google and found Eph 4:1-15. If anyone could suggest something close to that, I would appreciate it.

Thanks I understand. I dont think there is a clear direction for each individual. The bible tells u the Holy Spirit does give us gifts. But, I believe we have to discover those gifts with the help of the Holy Spirit. There are surveys(not sure what they are called)that you can take that help you figure out your gifts.

I, on the other hand, have figured out my spiritual gifts simply by discovering what I seem to be really good at.
My gifts are hospitality , evangelizing and administration. I do want to take one of those tests though to see if Im correct.😃

I use my gifts by running a homeless ministry in my church.👍
