Vocations retreat draws record-breaking crowd

A record-breaking crowd of over 60 men discerning vocations to the priesthood participated in a weekend retreat at St. John Seminary Feb. 2-5.

He attributes the turnout, higher than past years, to hard work and God’s grace. Last year there were 48 men who participated and the year before that there were over 30 men, he said.

And that was for younger men. They also had ten men whose age is over 40 attend a separate retreat

After all the bad news out of Boston, its nice to hear something encouraging.

In Singapore there’s only about 6-7 seminarians now and about +/-25 men attended the vocation discernment retreat last December
