Vogue Magazine Under Fire for Promoting Partial-Birth Abortions

New York, NY (LifeNews.com) – Vogue magazine is striking a pose in its January issue with an article glorifying a woman who had a partial-birth abortion and including a picture of her and her daughter wearing the latest fashions. Pro-life advocates complain the story makes the gruesome three-day-long abortion procedure seem fashionable.

In its story, “Private Lives,” the magazine claims Greenwich Village New York resident Lot Campbell faced a complicated pregnancy and her doctors advised her to have the abortion.

Thanks for that one. Coming from a family who’ve made their livelihoods either on Seventh Avenue, NYC in the fashion industry, or the textile industry elsewhere, I’ve been atuned to the fashion publications since childhoold and watched them go downhill. Wouldn’t touch them with a ten-foot pole years ago - but this latest one? Somebody ought to do a letter to the Editor asking why they don’t cover Catholic issues and the positive side thereof - since the magazine apparently isn’t fashion-oriented any longer.
