I nowadays feel the sentiment Peter had when Jesus asked whether he wanted to leaved after the multitude left because Jesus said that his body was really food and His Blood really drink. Peter answered: “Where are w going to? Only you have words of eternal life!” So do I! I am a prisoner of Jesus with unlocked handcuffs but I do not want to leave …

I do not know whether this makes sense or whether is of any help …

The joy I receive is in the very words of Christ, that God loved the world (you and me and all others) so much that He gave His only Son.
I am strengthened weekly when I receive absolution and the sacrament of the altar, and hear His word.
But most recently I give thanks that He has called my daughter to be a teacher of young people within His Church. I’m filled with joy and thanksgiving that the Spirit has used our hands and hearts as her parents to guide her into working in the Church.

The joy I receive is in the very words of Christ, that God loved the world (you and me and all others) so much that He gave His only Son.
I am strengthened weekly when I receive absolution and the sacrament of the altar, and hear His word.
