Protesters Gather at Home of Postmaster General After Dems Make Election Tampering Claim

PENNY STARR

15 Aug 2020

The far-left group Shutdown D.C. rallied its supporters to surround the home of Postmaster General Louis DeJoy’s home in Washington, DC, on Saturday after Democrats claimed President Donald Trump and DeJoy — whom Trump selected for the job — were making changes at the United States Postal Service that could interfere with voting by mail in the 2020 election. . . .

. . . USPS officials said it would run out of funds by the end of September without more federal funding, the Associated Press reported. The postal service reported a $4.5 billion loss in the first quarter. . . .

This must be more important to the leftists to control than I realized.

They would not be doing this, if it were not possibly politically expedient.

Now I oppose this more than ever.

Why leftists? Is the postal service NOT essential for everyone? Your letters, checks, medications must arrive in time. If you wish to cast an absentee vote - for whatever reason, you should be able to do it at your leisure.

There are problems with universal voting by mail.

I have posted many of them here over the last several months.

Our country’s Republic is more essential than “leisure”.

Like what?

As a matter of fact, the time is getting near when everyone can vote on-line. After all the whole financial world relies on the transactions over the internet, and it is incredibly stable. Unimaginable amount of money changes hands, very safely and securely.

So it would be quite simple to develop an on-line voting mechanism. First, everyone has a unique identifier - their Social Security number. To add another PIN-type password and soon a retina reader or fingerprint identifier would make the process of disenfranchising process (the dream of the WASPS) impossible. And finally to get rid of the Electoral College would create a truly one-person-one-vote system, the real bedrock of the Republic.

That is true. But the two are not contradictory.

How ridiculous to ‘swarm’ someones home.

What is wrong with people. So much entitlement.

Your president needs to state clearly that this is not on.

Good points.

Like the issues I have been making threads on for the past couple of months over regarding primaries.

Lost ballots, bogus addresses, mail not being delivered by deadlines (making them meaningless), etc.

I also posted Dr. Fauci saying it vote by mail is not necessary and he will be voting in person.

The other thing is, if you KNOW EVERYONE has a ballot what do you think the people who are willing to burn down other people’s homes to try to get their way (or out of envy or both) are going to do if they KNOW in their apartment building there are 25 potential voters?

Yes. That’s right. TAKE their ballots (by stealth or by force) and use them. Or counterfeit them. And why not?

If your morality tells you that it is OK to pull innocent people out of their car and beat them to a pulp to make a statement, or burn down THEIR homes,
illicit ballot harvesting would be a piece of cake.

Not without identification they don’t.

If you can go into a store, you can go into a voting booth for a few minutes.
ProVobis . . .
If everyone believed this, then Amazon would be out of business.
No it wouldn’t.

Amazon’s business took off during times with voting in a booth.

ProVobis on Amazon.com customers. . .
Now they “vote” from the comfort of their own homes. Like it or not, this has become the new paradigm.
Not without verifiable I.D. they don’t. (And even then, there is PLENTY of FRAUD!)

And this kind of “voting fraud” is likewise hard to prove too.
But a lot of people engage in such fraudulent behavior.

the poor service is not a new issue, the reorganization has been going on for a decade with plants being closed and the standard was changed years ago. no one was paying attention as it happened. he is doing what needs to be done to fix the USPS. they are delivering bulk packages as overnight delivery, but only amazon gets this deal. they are delivering junk mail as first-class, a service the mailer didn’t pay for. this and excessive overtime even when they were overstaffed is why they are in debt,

the democrats cry about photo-id, what do you think they would say to retina readers and fingerprint identifiers?

nonsense, it would allow the rule of the country by a few states. many of us don’t want to be governed like California or New York.

You carry your own verifiable I.D. on your person, voluntarily. It is called: “cell-phone”. What fraud is in Pay-Pal? And in credit card based purchases?

Interesting. A few years ago a government mandated personal identifier - which would be required to have on your person all the time and which would allow the government track all you movement - would have been met with huge resistance! Today… everyone volitionally carries a cell-phone. Times are a-changing. The old concept of privacy is GONE, and will never return.

And all those cell-phones can record police-brutality and allow you to have a camera on you no matter where you go on vacation. Is that too large to pay? And remember… it is all voluntary!

Baloney. So you don’t like the one-man-one-vote concept? And why to you think that California would have a bigger say-so, then all the conservative farmers in the heartland?

Everyone doesn’t own a cell phone and there is plenty of fraud on paypal. Can’t see that happening… Simply go into the booth as we all usually do, show ID and vote. Those who are too frightened or concerned for legitimate health reasons, get an absentee ballot and please don’t forget to sign it.

You can turn off GPS tracking on your cell phone.

The usage of cell-phones is spreading. The technology is but a few years old! And yet we all rely on the credit-card based system. Obviously every system can be attacked, and sometimes successfully. Our job is to improve the system, so it will be more robust.

That is what the current postmaster general tries to “torpedo”. The absentee ballot system relies on the postal system. Oh, and “mail in” voting is exactly, precisely the same as the “absentee” ballots. Of course the “very stable genius” does not understand this.

How would this actually work. It would require a great deal, a retinal reader on every computer which would mean every person would have to be fingerprinted and IDed and if you think we don’t already have problems with people just giving out their social security number, try fingerprinting and doing retinal ID on everyone. This is for the movies.

I’ve always found that an interesting way of framing “popular vote.”

Or a decent web camera.
which would mean every person would have to be fingerprinted and ID
Did you not have to provide finger prints when getting a drivers license?

I would have concerns with cell phone security. If a person has an Android phone on which a malicious app has been installed, that application could take control of the phone. This has already been done to steal bank credentials.

I would be less concerned with iPhones. But they have much smaller share.
