I read on this website a month or so ago that one poster compared Trump to Clinton this way, “it’s like comparing a reckless bully to intelligent evil.” I really think that’s a great way of summarizing it.

I don’t like Trump but he has promised to put conservative judges in the Supreme Court that will value life and protect our religious rights. Clinton has made it clear she will do none of that.

I won’t do a write-in president because I don’t want to waste my vote. Best case
scenario, Trump wins and decides not to get reelected in 4 years. Hopefully the Republicans will get their act together by then.

I have no idea what voting Catholic even means.
Clearly, despite the best intentions of the topic, unless it means “vote for whoever you want” it means some folks simply aren’t voting Catholic. Perhaps it is you and me, as I will be voting for Trump without hesitation (accompanied with Novenas, prayers, and fasting). Technically more a vote against Hillary, but I’ve warmed to Trump.

Now perhaps, if it means, after careful consideration of the most serious issues and facts presented, you vote accordingly, I could see why there would be different votes, but in that case, someone’s conscience is clearly screwed up, since it arrived at a different conclusion on a binary matter, IMO.

Besides, setting aside our third party friends, I suspect most of the “I can’t vote for Trump” folks were “I’m voting for Obama” folks 4 years ago. That’s been my anecdotal experience.

What an extremely judgmental, uncharitable, hateful thing to say…adding God Bless You doesn’t make it acceptable.
Since that is the view many of us have of the person you are supporting, why not just own it rather than act offended? No names were called. People want to proudly advertise their vote and take joy in doing say, but then want to feign being wounded by someone’s reply.

Unless names were called, or judgment of your soul placed, I see no violation or offense here. People can make any comparisons they want of my vote - I think they are wrong, so why would I care or be offended, especially when it comes to anonymous folks I’ve never met?
I opened this thread. Please do not use it to attack Mr. Trump.

Use it to go to that site linked …

catholic.com/voteyourfaith
It’s a great link, and will be quickly dismissed by supporters of a certain candidate. To avoid naming her, we’ll call her “Schmillary Schminton.”

The other guy, we’ll call him Tonald Drump has issues too, but that link is very stark - thank you.
