Of course, sin is only a mouse click away. But in some ways it also teaches discipline. As teen who fell into the trap of the revealing sights of the internet, I have found when I repented, my faith has only become stronger.

Yes, the internet can be good. However, for a teen it can be horrible. Until “you” think your child has met someone on-line and run away with them, and then really see where they have been on-line, it is impossible to truly see how evil it can be. Parents please BEWARE!. Esp.of chat rooms. There is much sickness and evil there. Please don’t let your teens on unsupervised.

Just look at all those filthy BOOKS out there with four-letter words! I ask you, Have books created more evil in the world?

There’s a difference. Our eyes are the gateway to lust: custody of the eyes. This makes the wickedest pornography a click away. There are many today who no longer even recognize pornography as a bad thing. There’s been a shift in the moral compass of the secular world and the internet makes practicing it, by pictyures, movies, chat rooms and so forth really accesible. A lot of people are being hurt by this.

I want to pray that people get reminded that all people are in the image of God, not tools and that no person allows themselves to be used as a tool.

Yes, the internet is a powerful tool in our lives, but that means the wide way is that much easier, even though the few who seek the narrow way might have some few resources to help them.

In and of itself it is not evil. People do evil. But this is a mighty tool for evil and the good is more useful than good in and of itself.

Just my 2 cents. I could be wrong

Those books can be bad too, but things that you see on the internet are in your head for the rest of your life. I would recommend parents getting a filtration system for their computer. These sites ask you to click here if you’re 18, that’s it. How can the computer tell if you’re 18 or not?
