Voting - Pro-Life Libertarian or Pro-Abortion Republican?

Which is the best way to vote for a person if you are 100% Pro-Life and here are your options…

Candidate A - Pro-Abortion Republican who has a 50/50 shot at beating his counterpart Pro-Abortion Democrat. Those voting for this candidate feel they really are at odds with the candidate on his Pro-Abortion issues but they feel the Republican Party stands for Pro-Life issues and therefore rather vote for this candidate because of his party.

Anotherwords this candidate is really a RINO (Republican in Name Only). This voter believes in voting for the Pro-Life candidate in the primary’s but if a Pro-Life candidate does not have a shot at winning in the general election, then vote for the Republican Pro-Abortion candidate because they feel the Republican Party is Pro-Life.

Candidate B - Pro-Life Libertarian. Of couse the person voting for this candidate would never vote Libertarian but the candidate just so happens to be the only one in the race who is Pro-Life. Those voting for this candidate feel the Pro-Life issue is the #1 issue of our day.

This voter feels if Pro-Life Republicans are content on voting for Pro-Abortion Republican candidates, then the Republican Party will continue to run Pro-Abortion candidates in the future. This voter believes in voting Pro-Life even though their candidate has no chance of winning. This voter believes in voting for the Pro-Life candidate always whether it be in the primary’s or general election.

No Vote - Option C. There are no good options here. I would rather not vote on this race.

Which do you feel is the most morally acceptable vote?

This question is posed because of a current U.S. Senate race in our state.

You should vote for the Libertarian candidate. Of course, there are myriad reasons why one should vote for the Libertarians instead of Republicans anyway.

:thumbsup:By definition a Libertarian promotes the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for every individual. Not groups or corporates but to every individual.

To be honest, the debate on abortion is dead in the political realm. Regardless of viewpoints, it is unlikely anything will change. Voting Libertarian is practically a wasted vote and a deterrent from the Republican candidate. My reason for going Republican is that 1) they actually have a shot at office, and 2) conservative groups put a lot of pressure on Republicans to vote conservatively. For instance, the Tea Party issued a warning to all Republicans that won last night. There will be expectations.

Don’t think me mean, but in watching the election results last night, no party candidate outside Democrat or Republican received more than a 2% vote. At least, from all the states I watched.
