Votive Candles for your Intentions

I am overwhelmed by the suffering out there as I read these prayer requests. My petty pains and inconveniences seem trite. I am going to confession and then mass in about an hour. I will light a votive candle at the shrines of the Sacred Heart, Our Lady, St. Joseph and St. Jude. It’s the best I can do right now.
