All of us have different gifts from the Holy Spirit. We are all called to serve in some way. I know some of are ill, but we can still pray. Don’t look to the world but look into yourself by asking God to move you to use your talents.

Yes,I see a lot of people helping out the church,some work Bingo,or makeing Rosarys,others help in the kitchen durning Bingo, others go visit the sick,but more could help,but say they have no time, but yet they have time to talk on the phone,yak outside,or go to the mall,but won,t give help to others if their ask. I,ve give credit to those older people that help out when they are asked, God Bless you,s. but we need young people to help replace those that are getting to old to do it any more. I,am I right,

In case you notice my signature line I will try to explain why I can’t do anything as in “share my gift(s).” First I have to have a talent to share with the church. I am currently doing an inventory to see if I actually have one. Second, I have never been asked or encouraged to do anything beyond some minor things which for the most part I have done. Of course, given my lack of talent, this is not surprising. Third, I do have some physical and time limitations which complicate things. So I aim to try and volunteer to help at something like the parish festival when there is a sudden swell in the need for help.

Otherwise I am trying to ignore the “share your gift” homily.
