That the incident happened at all is very sad. I am also saddened seeing the ages of the pro-abortion marchers. From the video, I believe that they are kids. This is very sad indeed.
If you stop and think of some things that they say, it tells you a great deal about the state of education and how education is being used as a political tool, instead of building culture.
The kiids shouted that the fetus is not a baby. Obviously, they learned this somwhere. What they were not told is that a fetus is a human being. They were not told that the fetal stage is one of many stages of human development from conception to senility (old age). The term baby, is a popular term that spans from zygote to todler.
They also chanted that women are not incubators. Unfortunately, they were not told the the mammal’s uterus is exactly that. It is an incubator and there nothing shameful or unnatural about it. Every female mammal has a uterus and its function is clearly defined as providing the necessary environment where the new life is protected and nurtured.
There was another point in their chant that struck me as sad. The kids were shouting, “abortion on demand and without apologies.” Let’s take the first have of that statement. Obviously these kids have been taught entitlement. Man must be given whatever he wants, when he wants it, without consideration of the consequences or the rightness or wrongness of the request. This leads us to the second half of that statement, “without apologies”. They have been taught a false lesson. Man does not have to justify or defend his positions.
The minds of the young have been manipulated to promote a cause that that serves a special interest group, the pro-abortion group. In this process, little attention has been paid to the fact that these non-values (lies) can be generalized by these young people. When that happens, those who taught them will become their victims.
Today, these youngsters chant that a fetus is not a baby. In a few years, they may chant that their grandparent or their parent with Alzheimer’s is not a person.
Those who have taught these kids have done great harm not only to the unborn, but also to these kids and to their own future. When you dehumanize one stage in the developmental process, where do you draw the stop line?
