There will be a Walk for Life, Rosary for Life and a Mass for Life in San Luis Obispo on the Central Coast of California on Saturday November 24, 2009.
Singing, prayer and speakers including Bp. Richard J. Garcia of the Diocese of Monterey will begin at 11:00 AM in Downtown San Luis Obispo at the Mission College Preparatory Gym (adjacent to Old Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa.)
The walk begins at 12:30 to 1:00 through Downtown San Luis Obispo stopping for prayer in front of the local Planned Parenthood clinic.
The Rosary begins at 3:00 PM at the Old Mission Church followed by the Mass celebrated by Bp. Garcia. Bells and smells for sure!
San Luis Obispo is a gorgeous little city on the coast midway between San Francisco and Los Angeles. Hotel/motel room rates are reasonable right now. Please join us for the day as we Walk for Life.
