So…did you go? I did with my oldest daughter and it was AMAZING!!! One of the most surprising things was that it was actually covered by the secular media–got to watch a bit on the 11pm news last night (buried as the 5th story, though). The local station said there were “tens of thousands” of us, and “hundreds” of counter protesters. Not bad for being in one of the most liberal areas of the country! We did encounter some protesters, but I only saw one area where they were really organized and we got past them pretty quickly. I wouldn’t have put their numbers in the hundreds, though. I did check the official website and it says we had more than 30 thousand people out there walking and praying. What an awesome privilage to be a part of it!!!
