I remember walking in religious processions while praying the rosary at the same time.

So no, it is not bad.

I remember walking in processions praying the nun’s didn’t crack me across the knuckles because my fingers weren’t pointing straight up to give the angels a place to sit!

Why would it be bad? Perhaps you should share your thoughts on why you would suspect such a notion.
Well because I thought there are lots of distractions and leads to a number of badly said Hail Marys. But as many posters said it is actually good to pray unceasingly so I think it is good to pray the Rosary even while walking. I guess Mama Mary does not mind if we said some few badly said Haily Marys.

Thank you very much for the help fellow Catholics!

“You always leave the Rosary for later, and you end up not saying it at all because you are sleepy. If there is no other time, say it in the street without letting anybody notice it. It will, moreover, help you to have presence of God.” – St. Josemaria Escriva

I started this last week when I walked home from work late. Nobody walking past would know. I look forward to the next one now.
