Oddly in a show about undead zombies the most unbelievable premise is that Rick can be within inches of a bad hombre for hours who only has a baseball bat and can’t figure out a way to stone cold kill the guy!
It may seem like Negan has the upper hand and in control of everything right now, but if they follow the comics version, Negan will be reduced to a lowly depressed prisoner with no followers before the end of the season. No way, Rick lives on if anything as historian of the group. I have my doubts on him leading his group in the short run. He’s been broken by Kayan. I think of Rick almost like Cool Hand Luke. If you saw the movie Coolhand Luke, Luke was broken by the Prison Warden. The Warden telling Luke " What we have here is a failure to Communicate " He was broken so bad, when he was given an order by a guard to fetch something he would say “Yes Boss” and would run and fetch and say “anything else Boss”. Luke fellow prisoners who looked up to him as someone who could not be broken turned on him. In the end Luke could not be broken, stole a prison truck and ran again. In the end I think Rick will do the same.
And Carol.Don’t forget Carl!
And all the zombies! Who have been in it from the beginning lolAnd Carol.
I do enjoy watching mindless zombies take over the land we used to live in while good people try to survive. Haven’t been able to watch TWD but the riot coverage is good.Anyone still enjoying season 7?
I think the actor playing Negan is just the best. He brings a great added dimension to the show. I saw from a promo that it looks like Father Gabriel somehow fights back against him?
You’ve clearly not watched the Walking Dead.I’ve never cared for zombie movies/TV shows but here’s a zombie simulator, Zombietown.
The best way to survive would be to cauterize (nuke) the location where the outbreak first occurs. So zombies appear in Manhattan, bye-bye NYC to save the est of the country.
For local outbreaks, incendiary bombing.
Mountain redoubts: I ran the simulator. After nine days the zombies spread from NYC north to southern ME to NC. but they haven’t touched the Adirondacks. Their progress thru ME is painfully slow. It would probably take them ages for them to cross the Great Plains and come to a grinding halt in the Rockies.
I’ve never watched TWD, at least not an episode all the way thru but one flaw with all post-apocalypse shows is that the survivors look too good; clean clothes, styled hair, plucked eyebrows, &c. After a real apocalypse folks will be killing for toilet tissue and feminine products, water to drink much less to wash with.
Yeah I thought the same thing. I remember in season one or two when they get to the cdc and they get to shower for the first time. Then it just seems to go downhill. To the point where Rick is almost not recognizable. I’ll admit that I am done with the show. I feel the end of last season and the beginning of this one was a real “jump the shark” moment for me.You’ve clearly not watched the Walking Dead.
I kind of agree on the main Alexandria cast. On the other hand, a spinoff about The Kingdom would be outstanding.Yeah I thought the same thing.
