Walking for March of Dimes?

My wife is wondering about walking for the March of Dimes. This is my understanding: while they generally do good work, they also indirectly encourage abortions by having parents test their kids for genetic abnormalities–and when found, the parents often chose to abort their babies. Any thoughts on supporting the organization?

I’d not support them.

I would instead donate the money to my local Crisis Pregnancy Center.

I think she was going to walk only, not donate. A close friend of hers just had a premature baby, and feels strongly about the cause. My wife wants to walk to support her friend, not particularly the cause.
