I heard today that a clay animated film with the characters Wallace and Gromitt was number one. Has anyone seen this movie?

I once saw somehing featuring the characters on cable about 6 years ago and laughed myself silly.
Is there anything else out on DVD with them on it?

I have seen their show and they are so sweet, loveable and hilarious…and kind of quiet…nice for kids to watch in the evening.

I have seen some of the past Wallace and Gromitt and have found it very funny. Saying that, I will wait until the movie is on cable to see it. This type of movie usually gets to the Cartoon Channer rather quickly.

We just saw it today – I thought it was fine; I’m not a big claymation fan, but it was raining and we had to be out of the house for several hours…so it seemed like the option (My dh had the day off and cannot STAND shopping or I’d have taken them shopping!!) – all I can say is that to take the four of us to a matinee (two under 5) it cost us $25!! Geeze louise!!! Now I know why those movie gift certificates I gave DH’s younger family members were such a hit!! As you can tell, we don’t get out much…LOL! The movie was good – it’s about a pest-control guy and his dog who are trying to figure a way to hypnotize rabbits with his crazy brain-wave invention – the goal being to convince the rabbits that veg is bad…all in the days before the big vegetable grow-off competition…something goes wrong (a la Frankenstein) and one of the rabbits mutates into a “WereRabbit” – who comes out at night and pillages the gardens of the poor villagers…it’s cute, albeit not really my taste. My 4yo liked it, and the short movie with the penguins from Madagascar was pretty darn funny (it’s about 15min at the start of the show). I’d wait for video, but that’s just me. I worried (like any mom) about the “big bad rabbit after dark” – but that’s mostly b/c I know all the werewolf stories, and had to remind myself that the kids don’t know that part of life…LOL –

I am a huge Wallace and Grommit fan! They are the best fun!

I think we should draft Grommit for president in 2008!

ditto being a fan. Their 30-minute shorts that were released 10(?) years ago are a riot! Look them up, fun for real kids and adult-kids alike.

“The moon is made of cheese!”

I love the Wallace and Grommit cartoons. I’ll definitely be renting the new movie.

I was listening to Ave Maria Radio and Greg and Lisa Popcek (with Exceptional Marriages.com) said that they love all of the Wallace and Grommit films - they are usually fun loving and so I’ll probably go and see it sometime when it’s in the cheap theaters.

I, too, am a Wallace and Gromit fan. And a Nick Park fan. I saw the movie. I really liked it. Have you seen Chicken Run? It was made by the same people.

The funny thing about the movie is the visible finger prints on the puppets!!!

My kids only last about an hour at the movies. Good thing they are free for us!!! They do like Creature Comforts.

Did ya hear that the warehouse keeping all the Wallace and Gromitt puppets from all of their stuff burned down, taking the history of the figures with it? Very sad that all the work that goes into making these has burned.
