Walmart supports abortion

I do a lot of shopping at Wal-Mart. It’s around 12 miles from my home (I live in a rural area). I do not purchase any of the pink ribbon merchandise. My husband and I refuse to contribute to any charity that contributes to Planned Parenthood and that includes purchasing pink ribbon articles. Wal-Mart has a large selection of everything from food, to soaps, to linens to clothing.
While I appreciate and affirm your decision not to purchase items that support Planned Parenthood, the pink ribbons are NOT exclusive to supporting the Susan G. Koman foundation. Don’t “write off” supporting breast cancer awareness and research simply because certain manufacturers donate to SGK…read where the donation goes to on the package or label first before deciding not to purchase it.

Here’s a link to a site that informs people about the link between abortion and breast cancer…and they use the pink ribbon, because it’s synonymous with breast cancer awareness, not the simply the SGK foundation.

I strongly suggest…you and the other boycotters start looking for an underground cave to live in or an abandoned commune in Northern California…because the way you are all going…you will not be able to live like you are you now.

If I spent my days “back tracking” where all the money goes…my house would be a mess…the grass would grow to the roof of my house…and my boss would wonder why I’m not at work. Everytime I went out to lunch with my friends…I would have do a “fact finding” to see if I could eat there…just in case…somebody said on CAF that the diner or eatery supported Susan G. Komen.

NOTE: The powers that be of the Church do not possess a list of businesses that Catholics are not allowed to frequent>>>there are no statements that say so>

IT IS A “PERSONAL” CHOICE>>>>>get a grip:shrug:
It’s so helpful when one defines his/her values.
By all means, keep that lawn trimmed!

:D:D

I did not attack your personal choice 🙂
I attacked the usage of your words.

A TRUTH is not a delusional fear …thus not paranoia

get a grip 🤷

Time to offer you an open apology from Catholics.
Seems some have been kicking you around today.
Don’t know why that should be but in lieu of silence,
hey, I apologize to you for your being slammed with sarcasm.

👍

Another relativist uncovered … it never fails.

your truth? my truth?
There is one TRUTH. His Name is Jesus Christ.
Actually, He is THE WAY< THE TRUTH< AND THE LIFE. Just for the record 😉

Since I am the logic phene apparently, logically if you believe the Bible is divine and inerrant, then he is THE Truth. Therefore all truth must flow from him. A “truth” is either of Christ and concretely True, or it is not of Christ and is concretely false. There are no other options. Relativism is as false a viewpoint as atheism and IMHO leads inevitably to the latter.

I also would like to offer an apology for the disrespect shown by many on this forum. I dont know your age, but if you are truly as young as you espouse, then you are a wonder among our youth and bound for great things. Your struggle for Truth and Christ are admirable and not a thing to be lightly mocked.

Thank you for being in your youth what I wish I had been in my own. And I am glad that you seem to have such a thick skin 🙂

Just one man’s opinion

Agree and thank you.
My impression too is that kimmie is young -
but definitely wise beyond her years.

I’m 64 yrs old and have been apologizing for other Catholics for decades. **

I am 26, Catholic for three years, and began apologizing for some Catholics three years ago, and some Christians for more than I can remember.

God Bless you and yours and thank you for shining God’s light.

Good for you and God bless you!

When a ‘Catholic’ derides/twists the faith, mocks believers, what can one do?
One can apologize for the errors, that is, apologize “for” them.

Thank You:)

I thought that Susan B. Komen was a breast cancer fighting association. You mean it’s for abortion too?

Komen foundation is a full-on supporter of Planned Parenthood.
Donations that go to Komen are, by some percentage, funneled to PP too.

great detective work…🤷 I guess your crystal ball is all shined and ready to go…😉

Yes Jesus is the TRUTH…I don’t take a breath or walk a step unless it is His will…

and again…I don’t recall a break in the newsday where the Pope standing on a balcony with a long list unfurling like Santa’s naughty or nice list, announcing in St. Peter’s Square a list of businesses in the U S of A that Catholics should not patronize…the only list I see is from CAF…with human beings run amok…

It doesn’t bother a me a bit that you call me a relativist…as I am not one of those who go cryin’ to the mods…

when folks like you pay my bills and mow my lawn:D…I’ll take it under consideration:shrug:

I work for a living…and I don’t spend hour upon hour on the CAF boards looking for “relativists”…or pointing out the planks in others eyes…

I guess Albert Einstein was wrong…🤷

If I spent my days “back tracking” where all the money goes…my house would be a mess…the grass would grow to the roof of my house…
Now look Julianna, the simple solution to the high grass would be to get a cow. Cows are great lawn mowers. So if Toro supports abortion (not saying it does, just using an example folks), just buy a cow, preferably a lactating one 🙂 why do people get so upset about long grass when it’s such an easy fix? 🤷
NOTE: The powers that be of the Church do not possess a list of businesses that Catholics are not allowed to frequent>>>there are no statements that say so>
You know what? that’s a really good point. Surely if it was a Catholic requirement to boycott companies or only buy things from certain companies, the Church would be telling us about it. What is the Church’s stance on this? Is there a master boycott list that the Vatican has put out? What does the Church say about boycotting those who provide goods and services?

Thanks Rence…yeah, I hear a goat works well too! Oh and good news…there is a round robin thread against Starbucks again:rolleyes:

I was told a few years ago, on CAF that there “is” a list. However, I have never seen it nor have I seen it in link. I haven’t seen any news report or canon law change/addition. I do see that is it all directed toward American businesses…which in itself sounds suspect.

Goats are better at brambles and brairs 😛 They like to stand on the roof of cars too, so park your car where they can’t get to it.

Aren’t they the shared-contributions company? I could be wrong, but isn’t Starbucks a company that matches their employees’ contributions to the charity of the employee’s choise? Which company does that if it’s not Starbucks?

Well if there is such a list, I’m sure we’ll find it eventually…
