Thanks for the information. History is important … a CBS documentary report by Walter Cronkite about abortion … well worth a look! After all, it is the main argument from people who simply don’t read about it anymore!

i was born in 1956 and my earliest memory of news reporters was that of Walter Cronkite.

He seemed fair, unbiased and honest and i used to think that he reported the news, only the news and nothing but the news. At the time there were only your local newspaper and 4 TV networks and no Internet, etc.

It is truly sad to see that i and millions of others were lied to by Walter Cronkite.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with giving your opinion in the from of a commentary, as long as you are honest and reveal your beliefs and the fact that you are expressing your opinion.

**When you present an extremely biased opinion as factual reporting, especially in the days when information gathering was extremely limited, you have committed a grave misrepresentation of the truth and deserve to be criticized, whether you are dead or alive.

Someone should do an expose on the whole docementary, anything about the decisions made, how interviewees were found, etc. It could include things like Nixon’s comments about abortion to make it a book … A cultural morass.
