Thats a very interesting take on the subject.🙂
Well, it’s not much and probably nothing like what James intends so I’m mainly just waiting to hear his explanation-at least I’d think he’d have more to offer on it if the title of the thread means anything.

Have you read through the thread?

The question is one that is difficult to grasp in itself. I have spent most of this thread trying to reword and explain the question.

When the question is not understood, of course, the response won’t really answer it.

Well, can you please give a more clearer version of your Question?:confused:
Number one at least seems to be asking why is there something rather then nothing, and number two doesn’t really make sense to me at all. It seems to be asking why there can’t be a contradiction.

That underlined question is the misunderstanding that blinds the mind to the real question.

Once again…

I am NOT asking WHY there is something rather than nothing.

I am asking why it is LOGICALLY IMPOSSIBLE for it to have been any other way. In a sense, I am asking why couldn’t God have chosen to not have any existence at all (but please don’t use that as the actual question).

My Questions to God;
  1. What is the foundational logic of the impossibility of indifference?
  2. From my situation, what can I do to prevent humans from replacing themselves or each other?
The first question is my qualifier to comment on the second. 😉
Man, this guy is hilarious! What a couple of questions! Here’s a totally made-up-by-me possible reply from God:

“What are you talking about James? Why are you asking me these questions? Do you not believe that no one has seen the Father but the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him? Are you seeking the beatific vision? Be still. I am. The Spirit blows where He wills. What use are your questions?”

“What are you talking about James? Why are you asking me these questions?”
The questions were addressed to the one who wouldn’t have to ask me to explain it. If you have to ask, you do not qualify to answer… either the first or the second.

So I might be urged to reply, “What are you talking about, Betterave? Why are you saying these silly things?” 😉

God wasn’t asking you to explain the question James (nor was I), he was asking you to explain yourself.

Because then it would’ve been another way.

This morning, I finally got my answer. {Thank You Holy Spirit :tiphat::bowdown2:}

That now completes my final philosophical questions. Now I have the foundational logical understanding of;

A) The Father
B) The Son
C) The Holy Spirit
{The Holy Trinity wasn’t a serious challenge}

So I guess now, I have to utilize that same source for the answer to the second question… hmm. 😊
