Want to ask someone out

Hi,
I have been wanting to ask someone out, but I am not sure whether or not God wants me to. At the very least, I think God would like me to try to initiate a close friendship with this person, but I am willing to wait and pray as to whether this is God’s will. I think God would like me to ask this person out, but I am afraid of being wrong about that, and ruining a decent friendship. Please pray that I can discern God’s will towards engaging this person in whatever form of relationship He wants us to have.

I think it would be safe by starting out asking your friend out for lunch or coffee and see where it goes from there. The worst that could happen is that your friend might say no. Peace.

Good news!
As I have been praying about whether to ask someone out, turns out she beat me to it. We were talking and she asked me if I want to hang out sometime. So we are going to get together next Tuesday, when we both have a day off work. So thank you all for the prayers. Please pray that our friendship goes however God wishes it to.

I feel the same way sometimes even though I never asked anyone out lol

I like someone and while I’m to shy to tell them I still ask God if she is right

I never had a girlfriend and I’m kinda happy because most of the girls I liked ended up being not so good to me or I didn’t like them anymore

I think he was looking out for me

I would pray on it and ask for his choice to seem clearer to you
And hopefully at that time you’ll just know In your heart what to do
Pray for him to help you in making decisions aswel
