I can relate to some of what the OP writes. Not the liturgical dance though, but female servers, females assisting the priest in giving communion and several instruments like harp, guitars and such being used during high mass.

And a Lay dominican has backed my suspisions that there are a lot of liberalism going on at my parish, that has affected and will affect the liturgy. I asked yesterday my parish priest by e-mail why the have started to leave latin parts out of the liturgy on sundays and i got just a vague answer that it is to include more people and get them to understand.

By “watering out” the liturgy? Well, i am very new as catholic…but have come to see some tendencies that really worries me as of lately. I will pray for the parish priest and the parish, but i also will most likely leave the parish and start attending masses at the dominicans monestary church.

Masses with folk music and clapping after mass is more like ballroom to me and that is not why i am there to attend at all. I am getting traditional and need to be in a traditional environment. Please pray for me, as things has been hard and very trying as of lately.
