I want to go to confession this afternoon however I have my 1.5 year old daughter and no one to watch her. Is it permissible for me to take her into the confessional with me?

I don’t see why that would be a problem. I’ve done it myself. Personally, my limit is some time around 3, depending on the child. It isn’t so much that I’m worried about them understanding what I’m saying, though. It is more that they are starting to be ready to learn that confession is a special time and something that we do in private. But I think that 1.5 is totally fine.
