I hope this prayer request isn’t too political. If you don’t mind (and I’m not actively religious), I would appreciate your prayers in respect to this issue.
  1. For the prevention and end to all forms of child abuse, neglect and maltreatment (and other hurts and pains they experience but especially those of that nature) as well as bringing safety, stability, justice, peace, hope and healing for what has happened.
  2. For the child welfare and foster care systems as well as other similar institutions to be safe, stable and nurturing (and if possible holy) places for those in need (but prevent its need whenever possible).
  3. For more children and youth from disadvantaged situations such as broken homes, dysfunctional families and poor communities to break the cycle and have more “happy endings.”
  4. For a couple of kids I’m been concerned about, for their safety, health and well-being and that of all at-risk children and youth (as well as for their soul and the souls of all at-risk, disadvantaged, vulnerable and hurt children and youth, this is rather ambitious but please pray that they become the saints the world needs in spite of their experiences since a bad background can really mess someone up).
  5. Special intentions for all at-risk, disadvantaged, vulnerable and hurt children and youth (and those who grew up in such situations) particularly migrant children, refugee children, foster children, institutionalized children, children in juvenile justice, homeless children and trafficked children. Also that that these situations can be prevented but for those children and other at-risk children, that they may be the Saints of the world.

Merciful God please flood Your mercy and love into all these situations.
Inspire us to seek to protect and love all these precious children of Your heart.
 
Prayed for all your intentions in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
 
Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.
