Hello,

I am in a tough situation. I have been praying and attending mass regularly. I want to become Catholic but am scared. There are no Christians in my family. I am worried to disappoint my old school family. Has anyone gone through a tough conversion where the family took it badly? I need some advice and stories please.
 
If you have been going to Mass freg. and they know that you are, then they probably have already figured it out It’s like smoking: the aroma clings to you. Take the next step and welcome to the fold. Peace.
 
Praying to the Holy Spirit to give you guidance, direction, strength, fortitude & wisdom in your time of need.
 
Perhaps, a chat with the priest will help. He may be able to guide you or direct you to someone that has gone through the same thing. Also watch “The Journey Home” on Youtube. They have many people who gave their conversion story. Welcome to the church started by Jesus.
