The Byzantine and Ukrainian Greek Catholic Churches have the Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom - and are in full communion with the Holy See.

The Byzantine, Melkite, Romanian and Ukrainian Greek Catholic Churches all have the Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom and are in full communion with the Holy See.

If you’re not sure if a church is Catholic or Orthodox, look at the Ektenia (Litany) of Peace in the first few pages of the pew book. If it has this:

Deacon/Priest: “For our most holy universal Pontiff N., Pope of Rome, let us pray to the Lord.”

R: Lord, have mercy.

it’s Catholic.

The Orthodox do not commemorate the Holy Father by name in the Divine Liturgy, since he is not Orthodox.
