Is a site of anti-Catholic fundamentalists. They posted this forum:

To spread ignorant lies about the Catholic faith. Please send a warning to any of your mailing lists if you’re on any about them. They won’t let you debate in that forum. (They ban pretty quickly.) My fear is that some unsuspecting Catholics with a little to learn will stumble upon this place and buy into their tripe without going to great places like Catholic Answer for the real answers.

Meanwhile, there are Catholics in their apologetics forum fighting the good fight. 👍 If you’re good at apologetics, you’re more than welcome to come and join us.

I went there and tried to post but gave up. Much too hard to navagate.
 
And, as usual, there’s no “Just for Lutherans,” “Just for Presbyterians,” “Just for Methodists,” boards, etc. etc. etc.

One more point on the scoreboard for the Church…because they don’t attack the others who are just as lacking as they are in being 100% Fullness of Truth.
 
If you will notice, it is pretty much one person named cindy talking to herself, lol. I saw maybe 3 other people responding, but mostly, cindy makes a “profound statement of truth” against the Catholic Church, then responds to herself over an over.

Cindy needs to get a life.
 
Cindy won’t let anyone post in there. If you’re a Catholic and you try to, your post will be deleted and you’ll get a private message telling you that those discussions are held in apologetics.

Her one on why she thinks we worship Mary was drivel. The first 10 things she lists aren’t worshipful acts in an of themselves, i.e. lighting incense to carry prayers to her. Furthermore, i have seen incense lit for prayer to God at mass, but never to Mary and never in private devotion. Even if it did happen, it wouldn’t matter. The fact is she’s too blinded by piddly extraneous misconceptions to argue at the heart of the matter, which is that believing God rewarded Mary’s singularly perfect and mortal life with a unique honor does not constitute worship. I don’t think arguing with cindi on her site will change her heart. If people come to these forums, i feel they are more open to truth than if they just make a little web site for self-promotion. It’s obviously more important to her to feel right than to be right.

Now, now, persons afflicted with multiple personalities need love too. They require more than the average person because there are so many of them in there fighting for attention.
 
The problem with this kind of thing is that a lot of moderators, administrators, and operators can be power-trippy. It’s like, they’ve got this power, and it’s maybe a new power, so it’s like a toy to them. People like this love to be a jerk to their members, ban people, randomly tell anyone who irritates him in the slightest that they’re breaking the rules, regardless of the fact that the power-tripper does the exact same things, and in most cases probably gets picked on a lot in real life, and doesn’t really have any power anywhere outside of their own channels and forums. There is a term for what they have been theorized to think that they are increasing the size of by banning people but I don’t think it would be prudent if I said it here. 😃

Yep. Sounds like a typical power-tripper to me.

I got banned from a “Christian” chat room once because some guy came in swearing and I asked him to stop and we got into an argument. I was pretty much banned simply because I was part of an argument that had bad words in it. I think I said a few myself, but come on…

Haha, they actually think that if you say the A word that you’re instnantly going to Hell and anyone who reads it is likewise. I have tried several things, short of connecting through a proxy, and still can’t get back in. A reformat left me with a new IP and I still can’t get back in. They must be banning my entire IP range. Apparently they don’t place too much value on forgiveness. I’ve stopped trying, I don’t even want to go back there now.
 
**yep, try a baptist or OSAS boards, and see how quick you get kicked off. All you have to do is mention the words commandments, and you are done at that point. **

It’s a small site for small bigots.

Sites like these will normally die the death for lack of any (name removed by moderator)ut from anyone other than the founders. Best not to give it any publicity at the moment.

Okay guys…Although none of you have violated any forum rules here at CAF, the mods and admins do have a policy to close any thread that constitutes a call to “swarm” another board, because it usually incurs reciprocation and that is a mega pain for the staff here as well as accomplishing almost nothing but leaving a bad taste in everyone’s mouth.

I have looked at the linked posts on the other site and I will say that those of you who have posted have been good, and that I personally am impressed with your charity as well as your knowlege of the faith. Someone is doing something right with you (the Holy Spirit?) and I hope and pray that we here at CAF have had some small part in that. (Please Oh Lord!).

Apologetics can be really tough, but never let it bite into our charity and compassion. Winning arguments is not what it’s about. Simply speaking the truth in love and compassion is better than winning any debate.

Always remember, conversion is the work of the Holy Spirit. We are only workers in the vineyards of the Lord.
