When I post a warning on some threads for people to calm down, it is usually after I have already deleted off topic posts. Infractions can be avoided if people observe that, hence the warnings.
That said, just because the warning is below a post, does not mean it is directed at that post. Yours just might be the ‘last post standing’ after deletion(s).
