Was anyone on CAF a fan of "Ryan's Hope"?

Kate Mulgrew, Marg Helgenberger, and Catherine Hicks all appeared on that soap. The now-defunct cable channel SOAPnet showed old episodes of the series back in the day.

And just to hear Maeve sing “Danny Boy”…that would be choice.
 
It was one of the few soaps that showed an average working class family as the main characters. I liked it a lot.

Didn’t somebody have an Irish accent?
 
Helen Gallagher, who played Maeve, used an Irish accent. But she was actually from Brooklyn1
 
Oh, the show was totally off the rails by then! I think that’s when the creators sold the rights, and no longer had control.
