Was C.S. Lewis a Catholic convert?

Maybe he didn’t convert because he was content with being Anglican.

C.S Lewis has long been one of my favorite authors and a hero of mine. BTW, Lewis did recieve Last Rites and toward the end of his life would regularly confess his sins to a priest. I do not know if last rites would make him a Catholic. I hope it would. 🙂

the Anglicans have historically been virulently anti-Catholic, anti-papacy and anti-Rome. They are not virtual Catholics. Please check your historical facts. They do not have valid ordination of bishops and priests. Henry VIII began the problem. Cranmer, the Puritans and the various anti-Catholic laws regarding succession to the throne, establismentarianism and persecution of Catholics perpetuated it.

I found it on several web sites. Just run a search for it on google. Type in Lewis’s name and “Catholic last rites”. Make sure you use the quotation marks.
