i read a black hebrew isralites post and he said that white men are evil and descendants of Esau and the Edomites “devils” and that are white men are evil…

Genesis 25:25 narrates Esau’s birth, “Now the first came forth, red all over like a hairy garment; and they named him Esau.”

and he said that Isacc loved Jacob and hated Esau

is this really true was Esau a white man, and what do you think about this debate, that goes on…

Hmmm. Esau was described as “red” (and the word “Edom” is also derived from the word “red.” I am not colorblind, so I am aware that red is not white, so I fail to see the intended correlation. Maybe Esau and the Edomites were American Indians (who were called “red men”). Or, maybe, this is a bunch of racist hooey.

The Bible does not say anything that about certain races being evil. Nor does the Catholic Church.

Well as has already been pointed out ‘red’ is hardly the same as ‘white’. And I admit it was a while ago that I read it but I do not remember it being written that Isaac hated Esau. I’ve just skimmed the scripture and cannot see it written anywhere.

This sounds to me like a racist individual twisting scripture to fit their own twisted views. I cannot see any logical or scriptural basis for it at all.

What I get out of that is that all gingers are evil.
OH NO!!! I’m evil…I look like a hairy Danny Bonaducce or Vincent Van Gouh(both ears are inact)!!!

Maybe I should change my screen name to “Friend Esau”

Sounds more like Esau was an orangutan, maybe an irish orangutan.😃 Seriuosly though, this sounds more like the error about Ham, Noah’s son, being black.

The guy who said that is a racist twit.

-Everyone comes out red all over. Then they cut the cord and clean you up, right?

-If Issac hated one and loved the other, he is probably not a role model I would pay much attention to. I am trying to learn from the ones who love this one, that one and the other one.

-Racism is racism. It is ugly, and it’s proponents use the Old Testament all the time to keep it alive.

In biblical times, Esau was probably the chief or leader of a tribe that opposed one another.
