I have had healing now 2 times.
One time I was in the hospital and was very very ill. I had been throwing up 5-7x for a year. A parishioner came to my hospital room and prayed over me and I took holy communion. After that I haven’t thrown up since and its been a long time.
The second time was at a healing mass. I have struggled with a lot self hatred and being extremely self critical and not extending grace or mercy to me. I instantly felt peace and rest in the spirit.
This particular healing prompted me to make a very good confession with Father. I admitted to sins I have been hiding from the world and Jesus, without feeling like a failure. I have been trying to practice self-compassion.
I love my faith. I love being Catholic.
