The fact that Hitler was present at the dedication of the new Nietzsche museum, and even had a photo taken of himself standing next to a bust of Nietzsche, suggests very strongly that you are right. Had he been a Christian of any denomination, he would have had more self respect than to help honor the world’s most famous atheist.
