Was it the devil, not Mary, who appeared at Fatima?

It seems to to be the popular opinion amongst “Bible Christians” that the apparitions at Fatima and elsewhere were appearances of the Devil rather than Mary. As a matter of fact, many people did. “By their fruits you shall know them (Mt. 7:16).”

How can I counter this? I have no idea how to respond. Can someone help me?

Hi,

Does it sound credible that Satan would urge people to turn their lives to God through prayer and acts of penance for their sins as our Lady of Fatima did? I think not.
