No one has claimed that Lot was perfect or sinless. I am guessing the difference between him and the others in Sodom and Gomorroah, was that he believed in God and loved Him, despite all of his sins and imperfections. The people of Sodom and Gomorrah worshipped sex and themselves and wanted nothing to do with God.
I think this just goes to show us all that even a weak, sinful human being like Lot can be saved, if one has faith and trust in God.

All cultures since the dawn of man (except our present perverse civilization that is probably no better than Sodom’s) have not accepted sodomy. That should tell you something: that the natural law is on the side of traditional sex against sodomy.
It is to be expected, of course, that pagans will defend sodomy.
Just as many of them defend prostitution, abortion, drugs, etc.

… Ancient Greeks thought two men having a relationship was nobler than that between a man and a woman. Several of the male Gods had a relationship with a handsome young boy. King James was called Queen James by his peers, because he was obviously gay. I’ve never come across there being scandal around that. Even the Norsemen with their concept of ergi (unmanliness), it wasn’t about two guys “doing it”. It was about a man allowing himself to be penetrated like a woman. The existence of paganism is irrelevant. We’re speaking of societies that endorse homosexuality, mot just partake in it, but endorse it. This is just beginning to happen again and history will repeat itself.

psssst… the spartans and the scandinavians granted their women a buttload of rights for their time. There cultures died out. Women are protected by law from rape and abuse by their husbands and can own property again. History is TOTALLY going to repeat itself with that too!

Lot being a righteous man could not offer himself to the men. It was not an option for him. His daughters were his own, as though himself, and he was willing to sacrifice his daughters and in doing so himself. It as his own nakedness that he was sacrificing because they were his daughters.

Last time I checked, God was VERY vocal about bad things in the old testament. Lots wife looked back and got turned into a salt pillar. The Hebrews worshipped Baal in the desert. God made half of them kill the other half then grind up the gold of the idol mix it with water then drink it.

So how are all those instances you listed relevant? Im not sure what the confusion is.
God never approved of Lots immoral actions. No one said Lot was perfect. All this means is that even sinners can be saved, provided they do not willingly submit to their sins and are willing to leave them behind.
