A friend who is a Protestant said (per e-mail) there weren’t any Portestant services on Pentecost Monday, an alternative would be a Cathoklic one but that was very early in the morning for him…
I e-mailed him back that there were other Catholic churches where they have masses too, I mentioned one with an evening mass also.
Now I am thinking maybe I shouldn’t have said anything, because really as a Protestant he shouldn’t go and receive communion (I think he thinks it is ok for him to take the host, even though I told him the church’s position).
I was really wavering because I didn’t want to deny him information about places to worship either!
(I didn’t tell him which mass I was going to, because I wouldn’t want him to come just because I go there… you may remember, I have posted about this before.)
What do you think, was it bad of me to even mention the mass times? Because he is not Catholic?
On the other hand, I would have felt bad also to kind of have a “you are not welcome” attitude!
