Dear Humble,
Jesus was not a homosexual, nor was He an alcoholic or diabetic. He was perfect in every way. That He chose twelve men (most of whom were married) to lead His Church certainly does not support such a theory. He did not look down on women. On the contrary, He was very good to women. He spoke to the Samaritan woman at the well and revealed His identity to her, which He usually kept to Himself. Remember that Jews would not speak to any Samaritans. He saved the woman caught in adultery from being stoned to death. He was always most respectful of
His mother. Calling her “Woman” was a sign of respect. Even while hanging on the cross, He was concerned for her welfare and asked His apostle, John to take care of her. Your friends need to learn just who this Savior of ours is. It doesn’t seem like they have much of a clue.
