E=bben15;10844512]I doubt his race would matter. He is our Lord and Savior. It does not matter whether he is African, Caucasian, Asian, etc.

👍

It is not obvious to me.

Some folks are just curious about our LORD as a human being.

Since I do not expect to see HIM as a standard-issue human being, I am not too concerned about the skin. I imagine we will see HIM as someone so luminous that HE lights up the darkness of death!!!

Really? You really believe that?

It is obvious what this thread was and is all about and it definitely isn’t about longing to see any face at all unless that face resembles yours.

Sorry to be blunt, but it is.

In the end result does it really make any difference what Jesus looked like or what color he was?

I mean does it really?
You are wrong. Zab got it correct. I’d like to see the real face of the man/God, Jesus of Nazareth.

If Eden was located someplace between the Tigris and the Euphrates, the people of the time were basically nomadic, wandering around the area between the Tigris and Euphrates and the Mediterranean rim. Subsequently they became more agrarian, and probably looked pretty much like modern-day Arabic/Iraqi people, who are considered of the Caucasian racial group. It wasn’t the Victorians who first made artistic portrayals of Jesus and Mary being tall, blue-eyed blond-haired people, those images go back to the middle ages. Why? Who knows. Maybe artists of the period thought that the more Nordic look was more holy-looking, for whatever reason. 🤷
