Hello,
At Mass on Christmas morning, our priest gave a homily in which he said several times that Mary was an unwed mother. He tried to show that God is welcoming and perhaps the innkeepers turned them away because they were unmarried. How would the innkeeper have even known that, anyway? I didn’t say anything to the priest or my kids. Just too weary these days. Your thoughts? References, etc.
Thank you,
Elizabeth
