If Mary was born without original sin, does that mean that she too was born of a virgin?

No, Mary was not born to a virgin mother. The word “immaculate” does not mean virgin or even miraculous.

The definition of immaculate is:
Immaculate
[ih-mak-yuh-lit]
adjective
  1. free from spot or stain; spotlessly clean: immaculate linen.
  2. free from moral blemish or impurity; pure; undefiled.
  3. free from fault or flaw; free from errors: an immaculate text.
  4. Biology. having no spots or colored marks; unicolor.
The Immaculate Conception refers simply to the fact that Mary was born without the stain of Original Sin. This was achieved by the power of God’s grace but does not necessitate a Virgin mother.
