Was Mohammad without sin like Jesus? If not, how can Muslims claim he is greater than Jesus?

Besides this, Muslims also believe that because God Himself, on the basis of His all encompassing knowledge, selected these prophets for delivering His message and to become a model for their followers, therefore these prophets must have been the best of mankind living in their particular times and societies.

However, this does not mean that the prophets do not commit any mistakes because as we know, mistakes are not synonymous with sin.

These prophets may commit mistakes, which are corrected by God, but these mistakes are not sins. Even these mistakes are in the way of righteousness.
Adam, your first prophet, made a mistake that resulted in the banishment of mankind from paradise! Do you consider this a simple mistake in the way of righteousness? What about David? Why did Allah scold him and command him not to follow his desires?

Adam (pbuh) in a moment of weakness made a mistake when he allowed Satan to influence him into doing something that he was not supposed to do and he then asked his Creator to forgive him… and he indeed was forgiven by Allah who of course is the Most Forgiving and the Most Merciful…
mistake??

so we are all sinless and commit only “mistakes” when we disobey God. Lord have mercy!

What was he pursuing the caravan for?
For looting pilgrims? For raping women? For kidnapping children? Oh i give up…perhaps they were playing hide-and-go-seek? Kim Jung Il would have been angry. Oh i meant Muhhamad.

Oh i meant Muhhamad.
🙂 Thats what I’d like hamba or any Mohammedan apologist to answer. He says 317 Muslims were pursuing a caravan but were unprepared for war.

Maybe they thought the caravan would willingly give itself up to be plundered- thus not creating a reason for Muslims to say they resisted Islam and then were obliged to be killed so war would not be needed.

Of course Mohammed sinned. He was a killer and a paedophile.
regarding pedophelia, check what this Bukhari hadith says:

“I participated in a Ghazwa [raid] with the Prophet. I said, ‘Apostle, I am a bridegroom.’ He asked me whether I had married a virgin or matron. I answered, ‘A matron.’ He said, ‘Why **not a virgin who would have played with you? Then you could have played with her.’ **‘Apostle! My father was martyred and I have some young sisters, so I felt it not proper that I should marry a young girl as young as them.’”

Muhammad said:

Muhammad saw Um Habiba the daughter of Abbas while she was fatim (age of nursing) and he said, “If she grows up while I am still alive, I will marry her.” (Musnad Ahmad, Number 25636)

You and many other muslims learn to play the semantics game really well! Heck thats why I converted! It sounded so good!
Sadly brother this game may work for reverting humans but when you stand before God with your clever twisting word game. It wont help.
Adam was after all human and humans do make mistakes.

die.
This is called a sin!!!
If my husband were to kill me; he could say it was a “mistake” (in his eyes) and it may be true. But it will be nun the less a sin in Gods eyes.

hamba2han;3952450:
And in the Battle of Badr during the time of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), an army of angels were sent from heaven to help the greatly outnumbered Muslims defeat their pagan enemies.
Hamba, do you really think that God needs an army of angels to do this job? Is one angel not enough? Look what the Bible says

“And **the angel **of the LORD went forth, and slew a hundred and eighty-five thousand in the camp of the Assyrians; and when men arose early in the morning, behold, these were all dead bodies.”

One angel is more than enough! 🙂
👍👍👍

I take it the time line for her to grow up was a whole 5 years?😉

that’s not the only problem, but the fact that he was looking at a baby and thinking of marriage …he did not spare that little child from his fantasies.

Yes i agree with you, but after reading the Muhammad wishing to take Mary as his first wife in heaven, nothing really shocks me about Muhammad anymore.
Im beginning to think is there no end to this sick and twisted individuals disgusting fantasies and desires?

(Revelation 20:10)
And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Good to see you know your bible my brother! 👍
Jesus is with you always.

… You know, i’m still waiting for some fantastic evidence that angels took part in the Battle of Badr…
Sorry, can’t help you here… video cameras and YouTube were not around back then, I’m afraid.
What was he pursuing the caravan for?
In these days, I think this would be termed as enforcing a military and economic blockade of the enemy.

Why does God require even one angel to overcome a hostile army? – After all, both the Bible and the Qur’an are replete with stories of the Almighty destroying whole nations completely on His own without the assistance of any angels whatsoever.

And it wasn’t an army of 5000 angels that was sent to the Battle of Badr but rather, it was some 1000 angels that descended from the heavens to help the Muslims at Badr.
Does this mean that in Islam prophets, as a result of their human nature, are considered potential sinners? Can you say that Adam sinned and was later forgiven? Was David a forgiven sinner too? Your post seems to evade the question and point underlined by inJESUS.
Kindly refer to this post.

Islam sounds so good, you say??

If that be the case, then I think that you may be much closer to the Truth than you realise.

In these days, I think this would be termed as enforcing a military and economic blockade of the enemy.
Then they were prepared for the possibility of war and the reality was the Muslims were not blockading Mecca but robbing them of their goods.

You mean to deviate by telling me there is no archeological evidence with that whole Battle of Badr stuff about angels being involved? Yes, typical case of Taqiyya and Kitman. Keep up the good work!. The ones here who don’t interact with Islam and Muslims on a day to day basis won’t understand. You’re doing Mohammad’s will. 👍
