Volume 1, Book 3, Number 63:
Narrated Anas bin Malik:

While we were sitting with the Prophet in the mosque, a man came riding on a camel. He made his camel kneel down in the mosque, tied its foreleg and then said: “Who amongst you is Muhammad?” At that time the Prophet was sitting amongst us (his companions) leaning on his arm. **We replied, “This white man reclining on his arm.” **The an then addressed him, “O Son of 'Abdul Muttalib.”

Volume 2, Book 17, Number 122:
Narrated 'Abdullah bin Dinar:

My father said, “I heard Ibn 'Umar reciting the poetic verses of Abu Talib: And a white (person) (i.e. the Prophet) who is requested to pray for rain and who takes care of the orphans and is the guardian of widows.” Salim’s father (Ibn 'Umar) said, “The following poetic verse occurred to my mind while I was looking at the face of the Prophet (p.b.u.h) while he was praying for rain. He did not get down till the rain water flowed profusely from every roof-g utter: And a white (person) who is requested to pray for rain and who takes care of the orphans and is the guardian of widows . . . And these were the words of Abu Talib.”

Volume 4, Book 56, Number 744:
Narrated Isma’il bin Abi Khalid:

I heard Abii Juhaifa saying, “I saw the Prophet, and Al-Hasan bin 'Ali resembled him.” I said to Abu- Juhaifa, “Describe him for me.” He said, **“He was white and his beard was black with some white hair. **He promised to give us 13 young she-camels, but he expired before we could get them.”

Who really knows… he could be caucasian or have olive skin…

Sigh…nah, he wasn’t a pedophile, any more than other people of the time, both east and west were. Mating and marriage were a very different matter in some regards then – the post-Renaissance model was far, far in the future, and marriage and alliance were also matters of money and entitlement in different ways. After all, I have heard Christians talk about how beautiful Mary being married at age 12 (how they got that age I have no idea) was, right here on this forum - the same people in some cases, who have problems with Mohammed’s marriage to Aisha - and completely disregarding his love of the older wife, Khadijah. And the Jewish Bar Mitzvah is the ceremony of becoming a man, no longer a boy…at age 13. Need I go on to cite European marriage customs of the Middle Ages, or that some parts of the US and other countries still consider some marriages and consents permissible at that age?

That aside, well, Mohammed was certainly a Semite, therefore he was…a Semite. I’m not sure what ‘white’ means to some people here, but that does mean he was very likely of mixed tribal and Mesopotamian ancestry (as opposed to, say, Mayan 😛 ), and while that’s possibly the busiest crossroads in human history in every way, it’s quite likely that he was early-indo/euro in background overall, and maybe with traits from all over the place, not unlike Jesus or Moses (who was very VERY likely half-Egyptian anyway). Yep, you tend to wind up with darkish-olivish skin, a pretty good share of dark, shaggy hair and a not-inconsiderable shnozz with such a background. I always sorta pictured him as being a little like Mahbub Ali from Kipling’s Kim in a way, even though a modern Pathan is probably slightly different (ie, likely paler) than a medieval Arabian.

Hmmmm… I agree he was a semite. But was he a full blooded arab? It appears from the above ahadeeth he might have been more White than Arab.

Regardless whether he was white skinned or more brown skinned, the area he lived in is considered to be Caucasian according to most definitions of the word. As for “full blooded”, with genetic testing, it appears that very few of us are “full blooded” anything. 😉

The Middle East is considered by some to be Caucasian. Others consider only Europe to be Caucasian. Still others consider only those from the Caucus Mountains to be Caucasian. Some consider Indians to be Caucasian. Some consider Indians to be Ayan. (I am talking about the sub continent of India)

The point I am trying to make is that there is no race of people designated White. In fact, unless someone is albino, there is no skin color that is white.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caucasian_race

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albinism

I am several shades of pale pink with assorted brown spots commonly known as freckles. What “color” are you? 😛

If you would like to find out your genetic ancestry, you can go to this site for a simple test that cost less than $200. You might be surprised to find out your racial make up.
