Heck, I googled it. The only two articles were from a young earth Creation website and one written by one of the “world’s leading cryptozoologists”.
Only if you think every species we see today were needed to repopulate. How many do you think were necessary to be on the ark to see the diversity today? It’s a difficult thing to reconcile. Even if Noah only took two of each species of animal, the size of the ark as described in the Bible would not have been anywhere near large enough to house them all. And how do you explain the distinctly different animals that populate the different continents? I understand that God is in control, but it’s still curious to me.
Atheism is, though.Science isn’t about forcefitting your preconceived notions on to reality
Per a quick Google search, mt. Everest is currently 29,029’ tall, and is growing at a rate of 2.4" / year.niceatheist:![]()
How tall was the highest mountain at the time of the flood and where is the empirical evidence to support it?We might be (depending on where you live). But the Andes, Rockies and Himalayas? Sorry, it doesn’t sum up.
Yes, it could and did. Environmental niches are rapidly filled by design and adaptation.I don’t have a strong opinion and I’m no expert. But at the rate that species evolve and new animals are created, it couldn’t have happened in this short of time without divine intervention.
