Was there somehthing I was suppose to say for Ash Wednesday yestreday?

I know that when you recieve the Eucharist you say Amen but yestreday when I went up to recivev the Ashes on my forehead I did’nt say anything.Before then it has been a while since I have been to a Mass for Ash Wednesday.Was there something I was suppose to say?.I’d like to be sure for next time.Thank you very much so and God bless.
 
I just simply said “Amen” in response to the “Remember, man…” prayer.👍
 
The Missal does not prescribe any sort of response for the imposition of ashes. Lighting won’t strike you for saying “Amen,” but it is not necessary.
