Was this an improprer Halloween costume?

Dear Catholic Answers,
I was wondering. I dressed up as a priest for Halloween to attend my Church’s Halloween party for youth group. Is this considdered sacriligious? My priest seemed to be offended. I didn’t want to hurt anyone and did not intend to make some mockery of the Catholic Priesthood. I myself would like to become a priest. I feel bad. Is this God’s guilt or the devil’s? Please help.
